We are extremely proud to present the brand new Official Yamaha Tenere World Raid Team who will have as Team Manager our Manuel Lucchese (Rebel X R&D Manager). Manuel has worked through 2021 as R&D Project Manager for Yamaha Europe developing with the Yamaha engineers the Tenere Prototype presented at Eicma. The Yamaha Tenere World Raid prototype will now make its debut at the Tunisia Desert Challenge and then race also Africa Eco Race 2022.
The Team for Tunisia other than Manuel Lucchese it will be composed by Pol Tarres and Alessandro Botturi as the official riders. Whereas the mechanics and assistants will see James West (Ex Pro Dakar racer), Ahikar Azcona, Max Sant, Emanuele Vignali and Luke Wilkins (PR) fly to the desert for this first rally.
We are very proud to have several of our products featured on this Tenere World Raid Prototype some of which are already available for the standard Tenere.
