Last week we were in Abu Dhabi to perform the last final pre-production test of our new Yamaha WR450F 2017-2018 Rally Nav Tower and Fairing Kit. We took part in the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge which was round 1 of the World Rallies Championship so a perfect true race condition to test our products amongst the 6 stages.
We were really happy on the performance of our new product especially because a rookie rider (Abdullah Dakhan) was racing our kit at his first ever rally. Not only he completed the rally but also ended in the top 15 overall in the bikes. During the race he took several hits crashing on some dunes but nevertheless the nav tower that was installed at the beginning of the rally went all the way to the finish without the need of any substitution.
Having completed this last test successfully we now have started production and will present the official kit in just a couple of weeks. So stay tuned on our website because plenty of new products are gonna be uploaded soon.
