Today was a real massacre at Dakar, this was one of the longest special stages of this Dakar and it made the first victims. Luckily our Francesco just cruised and managed to gain some positions but the main thing is that the bike is rolling well and the rider is just relaxed. Francesco told us today the main problem for most amateur riders was the incredible heat that caused many to de-hydrate. For sure now the stage from San Juan to Chilecito will be easier and less technical but in Dakar anything can happen so Francesco has to keep his concentration.
